Quick answers

The four questions every Utah homeowner asks first.

Is an ADU even legal in my city?

Probably — Utah's SB284 law (2026) requires cities of 5,000+ residents to permit detached ADUs, and every city must adopt an ADU policy by October 2026. But size caps, setbacks, and design rules are still set city-by-city, which is exactly what we verify in your free estimate.

What's included in the estimate?

The whole project: the home itself, foundation, utility hookups, typical site work, and permitting — for your specific city and lot. We'd rather give you a real number now than a teaser price that grows later.

Can I finance an ADU?

Yes. Because our ADUs are permanent, foundation-set homes, they qualify for standard paths like HELOCs, construction loans, and renovation loans. We'll point you to lending partners who do this every day.

How long does it take?

Permitting is usually the long pole — typically a few months depending on your city — then the build itself moves quickly with our local crew. Your estimate includes a realistic timeline for your city.
